I've always enjoyed Hi AiM conferences and have attended, almost all, barring one in the middle. I think what differentiates this conference from the others is that there's a lot more knowledge sharing and maybe less networking. But for people like me, knowledge sharing becomes very important because you're up with the times, and you also know what's new. They put in very good partners for that. And then I think the simplicity of how they do it, not from a branding perspective of the conference but the actual usefulness, has always been rewarding. The theme is the economics of hospitality design. It's a great theme. The world is changing very quickly in what people are doing. So, it's relevant.

In Nepal, where I work, we see a rise in branded properties, and there's a perception that hospitality is becoming more expensive. However, I believe that efficiency in design is what truly drives revenue. While construction costs are a factor, the longevity of a hotel and the returns it provides to the owner are what really matter. A well-designed hotel not only enhances guest experience but also ensures sustainable profitability, which ultimately drives the industry forward.
