Dy. Managing Director - The Lemon Tree Hotel Company
"Having attended many hospitality conferences in the past-I must congratulate the organizers. It was a hospitality conference with a difference-the quality of discussions was varied and it was interesting to see active and creative participation from Architects and Consultants. Timings were adhered to -venue were simply and functionally arranged. Well done everyone."
At my age (75) it will be hopeful for Sri Lanka (India and the rest of the world) to follow the idea that small is beautiful as you know major architectural and other physical infrastructure projects in our small country will inevitably be against the needs of healing Mother nature. I would constantly wish that any begun in Sri Lanka will be not purely business as usual but small hotel projects - say 20 to 60 rooms spread out geographically. This will ensure the well being of the agricultural hinterland or forests and other natural resources. I recall the author of authentic eco lodges, architect Mehta emphasizes similarly.
" It was indeed a rewarding experience to attend the Hi-Aim at Colombo held on 14-16 March. The global concerns about environment and sustainability have been engaging industry professionals and practitioners for quite some time. However hospitality and allied sectors have a long way to go in mainstreaming these concerns. The HI-Aim was unique in addressing these concerns in a holistic manner. The conference deliberated upon the ways to follow sustainable environmental practices from buildings to operations. It was heartening to find an overwhelming response from the participants comprising galaxy of owners, operators and professionals to the array of presentations carefully chosen by the organizers which focused on this issue.
I hope Your organization will strive to take this onerous responsibility further in its broad based engagement with the sector.
" It was not only an eye opener to the issues that hospitability industries are concerned but the commitment with which you people are pursuing all issues within the zone of development .I really pray that you keep raising the bar of quality of Architecture in this mad race of change and progress so that, whatever new has to happen in this sphere is looked necessarily in a holistic way and not for narrow goals .The unity of any development will have a bright future ,if followed with the vision of preserving indigenous cultures in fusion with contemporary and avant-garde art .
I sincerely thank you for giving me this opportunity in sharing my concerns and suggestion ,which is to include the Art in your regular discourse in mapping the future programmes .
Thanks for everything in enriching my knowledge.
Thanks for inviting me to Hi-Aim conference this year. It was a great idea to have it in Colombo where the growth of the leisure market will need the expertise of the industry professionals who were present at the conference.

“ Hi-Aim is one of the best event for Hotel developers and Project Managers. This two day event provides insight to various aspects of a hotel Project and different perceptions of various stake holders involved. It is getting better year on year and I wish the team heartiest congratulations and great success ahead”
This was my first HI-AIM and I was very, very impressed with the levels that you have achieved.
Sessions were good and informative. It was well organized and will certainly be a good platform for developers and hoteliers to meet and discuss.
I was very impressed, well done.

“I congratulate Hi-Aim team for organizing a productive and engaging event. This was a great platform that not only provided an opportunity to network with diverse industry colleagues but also yielded insights into the trends, opportunities and challenges relevant to the market today.”
"Ït is always a pleasure being associated with Hi-Aim. The event has within a span of 5 years scaled great heights and has attained a niche position as a comprehensive forum for the various stakeholders within the industry.
The decision to shift the 2016 event to Colombo, Sri Lanka is also commendable, as this provided an opportunity to look beyond the domestic scenario and encompass the growing/emerging regional markets.
The passion, experience and insight of the organizers and Hi-Aim team have resulted in this event becoming one of the 'must attend' conferences in the annual calendar and I am certain that it will only go further in the years to come."
