He represents TFCI on the board of some of the assisted hotel companies and is also an investment committee member of the India Enterprise Development Fund (IEDF) of IFCI Venture Capital Funds Limited.
Brought up in Roorkie, Tyagi graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University Of Pune in 1991. He began his career with New Era Furnishers, an interiors contracting firm, under which he managed the SAARC Conference Centre in Thimphu, Bhutan. Thereafter, he worked with the Park Hotel in Nehru Place, New Delhi and The Times Of India. In April 1995, he joined the Taj Group of Hotels and gained many successful promotions year after year. From Goa to Delhi; from Maldives to Mumbai he undertook many projects of renovation, conversion and building of the Taj properties. Currently working with Starwood Hotels, he is handling over 40 projects and has been a part of launching major brands like Westin, Four Points, Alofts etc to the Indian market.
Andrew has designed interiors for the world's leading hotel operators, holding senior positions at well-renowned hospitality specialists.After studying Interior Design in London, Andrew became Senior Designer and then Managing Director of regional Interiors group GTD in Hong Kong.He went on to became Senior Project Designer with globally-renowned hospitality specialists Hirsch Bedner Associates in Singapore, designing luxury projects in Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia and Thailand. On his return to the UK he worked at Richmond International—a part of the Areen Group—and in 2008 he established Areen Hotel Design, now known as Areen Hospitality. As Head of Hospitality Design, Andrew is involved in all aspects of a project, from conception through to on-site installation.

Thereafter, he joined Kabil Associates—a USA based firm and worked with them until 1989. In addition he also worked in the US office of Kabil Associates for 6 months. In the year 1989 he started his own practice of Architecture by the name of ASA (Anil Sharma Associates). His first project in Pune was later on branded as Holiday Inn Pune. It was also awarded "The Best New Hotel of the Year in Asia Pacific Region" by Holiday Inn worldwide. Since then ASA has been involved in various reputed Hotel projects all over India and has designed two projects in Kazakhstan.
Barry is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 40 years of experience in the Building Services Industry. His innovative designs have won a National Engineering Excellence Award for a mixed use development in Queensland, containing a large auditorium. He has lectured on smoke control systems, commissioning, and legionnaires disease/sick building syndrome, as well as assisting in the compilation of the AIRAH Tropical Air Conditioning design manual. He has recently received a patent for a hotel guest room A.C. system which saves 30% energy on a conventional system, and requires no in room maintenance. He compiled a technical design manual and sustainable design guide for all InterContinental Hotel Group brands. Barry was recently involved with Masdar—the world's first zero carbon emission city being constructed in Abu Dhabi

Prior to IHG, he worked with HVS International, where he was responsible for directing valuations and feasibility studies, managing the consulting process and leading the team involved with economic planning, market demand studies and financial analysis. He has also worked with Global Hyatt Corporation, across various Hotels in management and front line roles in India and Australia.
Mark Kowalski, one of WATG's most versatile and creative architects, brings to the team over 15 years of experience in the design and management of urban and resort hotels, residential and mixed-use projects throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the United States and the Caribbean. Prior to moving to Dubai, Patti spent 12 years in Chicago, Illinois working in the Hyatt Corporate office, on international hotel projects around the globe. She started her career in hospitality design with the renowned architectural design firm WATG—Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, where she was a project architect for ten years, working on a variety of projects. Patti is a licensed architect in the state of Hawaii, USA, and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
An engineer by profession, he ventured into the family business of construction in India at the early age of 20. Within a span of 25 years, he executed jobs for reputed companies like L&T, ONGC, Essar, Food Corporation of India, Indian Railways. In the 1990's he diversified into hospitality and set up hotel projects in Mumbai and Surat. Mr. Bansal moved to the USA in 2001 and acquired hotels projects in Atlanta. In the year 2008, he set up Lords Hotels and Resorts—a mid-market hotel chain which expanded into 12 operating properties and 8 hotels, expected to be operational by 2012. His vision is to make Lords a 50 Hotels company by 2015. Richard H. Penner has been a member of the faculty of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell since 1970 where he brings together experience in both architecture and hotel management, teaching courses in hotel planning, development and interior design. He graduated from Cornell University with bachelor and master degrees in architecture and is an author of four books: Hotel Design, Planning, and Development (W.W. Norton, 2001, revised 2012), Conference Center Planning and Design (Whitney, 1991), and Hotel Planning and Design (Whitney, 1985), as well as numerous articles and book chapters. In 1992 he was honoured by Hospitality Design magazine with its Platinum Circle Award for his contributions to hospitality design as an author and teacher.
Rajiv brings with him over 25 years of experience in engineering project management, architectural and engineering consulting services, budgeting, cost control, engineering design review, value engineering, systems installation management, scheduling, material procurement for various clients, hotel properties and real estate. Rajiv has extensive experience of managing wide range hospitality projects. He has completed the new construction of over 50 projects around the world. A licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (USA), Rajiv has a B.Sc. degree in Engineering from a Regional Engineering College in India. Rajiv, a native of India, is a Canadian citizen now.
Rajiv started his career with IHG in 2004 as Director Development South West Asia and in 2007 was made Associate VP Development for the South West Asia region. In 2011 he assumed the responsibilities of Vice President Development, South West Asia. He has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry with significant expertise in the hotel and tourism development arena, spanning South West Asia and Australia. He has also handled Development roles with Aman Resorts, Accor and Southern Pacific Hotels in the South West Asia region. Rajiv has worked in Australia with Horwath and in the US and Germany in hotel operations. Rajiv holds an MBA degree from the Australian Graduate School of Management, Sydney. He also holds a Hotel Management Diploma from Dadar Catering College, Mumbai.
Ritu started the India office of M/S TID International, Singapore in January 1995. She developed and promoted TID India and handled design co-ordination between clients and senior designers of the head office in Singapore. Within a short period of starting TID India, she found herself running an international design company of par excellence and heading a team of 19 people. The passion and challenges of introducing new design to a still nascent and evolving market in India has given rise to new avenues and exciting times. She has learnt that the best experience in interior design comes with travelling, observing and expanding ones horizon to new ideas. In her words, "Interior design is not just about what is within the 4 walls, it is about creativity and thinking out of the box."
Steve has had a vast experience of over 35 years and has held several senior positions in the construction and development industry. He started off as a licensed builder in Queensland and New South Wales and went on to become the Director of Constructions, then Qld State Manager for 9 years during the 1980's, for Carrington Constructions, Sydney which at that time had an annual turnover of $50 million. During the 1990s he undertook the position of a Qld Development Manager, and then Qld State Manager, for Walker Corporation Ltd for 10 long years. After this, he joined the Ray Group P/L as the Senior Development Manager, and then Development Joint Venture Partner from 2000 to 2006. Since 2006, he has been the Principal of SMDS and along with this, he also provides long term consulting to Laing O'Rourke and the Mantle Group.
Sudeep finished a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, Cambridge, USA and a post graduate Professional Development Program from Cornell Hotels School, Ithaca, USA. He recently relocated to New Delhi from New York where he spent six years in corporate roles with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, most recently as Vice President, Global Development Marketing and Planning. Sudeep previously spent ten years in Asia Pacific and the US in strategic consulting roles with Bain & Company. In his current position with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, Sudeep is part of the team dedicated to providing advisory and investment sales services to the clients interested in the growing hospitality market in India.
Suneet Paul is an architect by training with a strong interest for the fine arts. An Alumina of the Chandigarh College of Architecture, Chandigarh, he has been involved in architectural practice, academics at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and in architectural journalism initially as the managing editor of two renowned Design magazines of India—Architecture + Design and Indian Design and Interiors, published by Media Transasia Ltd. He is now the editor-in-chief of Architecture+Design. He has been instrumental in many initiatives to provide a platform to individuals to showcase their talent, be it architecture, photography, graphics or then craft. For example, he has been one of the pioneers of the 'Architecture + Design and Spectrum Foundation Architecture Awards' which are now the only Indian national awards at this scale.

He moved to the UK and gained early experience in resort & spa design working on projects in Dubai, Jordan and Casablanca. On joining ReardonSmith, he lead the architectural team handling the multi-million pound rebuilding of Grosvenor House in London. His other projects include: designing of Porto Montenegro, the new marina destination on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro; Project Leader of the new Four Seasons hotel in Azerbaijan; Project Leader of the Hersham Golf Club & Hotel, Surrey, UK; and most recently Project Leader of a Ski Resort Grand Palace Hotel, Azerbaijan.
Peppermint Hospitality India, run by Arjun Baljee of the Baljee family that owns the Royal Orchid chain of hotels, plans to take the budget boutique brand abroad. The brand was earlier planned to be launched abroad first and then in India, but later, the company decided to launch it in the country first. Currently, there is only one operational property under the Peppermint brand at Gurgaon in Haryana. The company plans to add six hotels by June 2011 in Baroda, Bangalore, Jodhpur, Goa and Ahmedabad.

She graduated from CEPT, Ahmadabad in 1985, and also a Scholarship from L'InstituteFrancaise D'Architecutre to work in Paris for a year.She is an executive member of the Conservation Society of Delhi. She was also the consulting editor of the Habitat Section for the Times of India newspaper. She is on the committee of experts, constituted by the Ministry of Environment, Government of India. She has recently been appointed as one of 3 members of Delhi Urban Arts Commission. SohrabDalal graduated from CEPT, Ahmadabad with honours in 1984. During this period he also worked with Meldrum Burons and Partners in Sydney for a year, and after graduation with the famous Architect/ Sculptor SatishGujral, also for a year. In 1985 he founded the firm Atelier 2001, along with KhushrooKalyanwala and SonaliBhagwati, which was converted to Spazzio design in 1993. In 2010 Spazzio was merged with Designplus (the firm founded by SatishGujral) and he took over as Managing Director of the merged entity. In 2009 he, along with Wong Chiuman of WOW designs received the award for the "Building of the Year" from the Singapore Institute of Architects for the Taj Vivanta project in Bangalore.

He promoted HPG consulting in 1999, and today it's a well-known Consulting Company specialising in food service design, laundry design and facility planning for hospitality projects. HPG Consulting has already associated with projects for international brands like Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Accor, Starwood, Langham Hotels, Dusit International, Millennium Group, Taj Hotels, besides the local hotel groups in India.

A graduate in arts from the University of Delhi, Mr. Jain is a Non-Resident Indian and the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. He has an experience of over 22 years in the paper industry, and has been primarily involved in strategic decision-making. Mr. Jain has been instrumental in the development of the Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, Sahibabad. Mr. Jain has also been involved in structuring the technological up gradation and modernization program undertaken in the Paper Units. Other than this, he also has hands-on experience in Finance, Taxation and the Accounting department. He is the Senior Vice President of Sahibabad Industry Association and Ex-Member of the Advisory Board of Central Excise (Meerut). He is also associated as the Managing Director of M/s Rose Corner Trading Limited Liability Company, Dubai.
