Born in Germany, Britta Knobel Gupta commenced her Architectural studies in Konstanz Germany and Lyon France. She received a scholarship in 2004 to study M. Arch DRL at Architectural Association School of Architecture London. In 2006 she joined Zaha Hadid Architects and was involved as Lead Architect in a number of seminal projects as Lead Project Architect which attained international acclaim. She has been awarded in her early career with the Newcomer Award 2002 and in 2014 the prestigious 40 under 40 Europe, alongside she has also been awarded with international property award for Best Hotel project of the year, Finalist in WAF, Estrade International Award, Iconic Award, German Design award and Golden A’ Design Award. As an invited speaker she gave prominent talks at TEDx Germany, Smart Geometry Hong Kong and CIBF Congress by AIT in Hamburg Germany and got featured in CNN. She was judge in WAF 2017 and is returning as a judge to WAF Lisbon 2021.

Cyrus Madan started his professional journey with the Taj group of hotels as a management trainee in 1995. He holds a bachelor of hotel management degree from Welcomegroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration. Pursuant to his stint with Taj, Mr Madan worked for Lemon Tree Hotels and was instrumental in the company's Asset Light Model's expansion and took Carnation Hotels (Lemon Tree's managed hotel portfolio) international as its Chief Operating Officer, negotiating and signing management contracts in Dubai, Nepal, and Bhutan. Over the last 9 years, Cyrus Madan has individually sourced and contracted 60+ hotel projects. He’s well versed in management contract negotiations, owner relationship management, asset management, and managed hotel operations. In addition to experience in the management contract business, Cyrus has a proven track record of successfully handling acquisitions. Cyrus Madan has recently joined Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts as Senior Vice President – Business Development India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal. With more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Madan brings a wealth of domain expertise in working with brands, acquisitions (both land and hotels), hotel pre-openings and operationalising hotels.

Mr. Kunal Chaudhari is a ‘2nd Generation Consulting Engineer’, and Director at renowned MEP Consulting Firm ‘Udayan Chaudhari & Associates Pvt. Ltd.’ A Mechanical & Automation Engineer by qualification, Kunal has successfully delivered several prestigious projects in India and Abroad, and has begun his journey as a guest lecturer in renowned Architectural & Engineering Institutions as well. At ASHRAE and various Industry platforms he has been part of panel discussions, and acted as a moderator too. He is also the Past Treasurer of ASHRAE India Chapter. Kunal is a published author with two titles to his credit. Sustainable designs coupled with pro-active use of state-of-the-art technology have been the cornerstone of his career as a Consulting Engineer. He has work extensively with MNCs and Renowned Global Brands over the last 13 years. The industry knows him as someone with an ‘eye for detail’, and having an appetite for concluding complex MEP design assignments. Data Centers, Labs, Retail & Commercial Buildings, Universities, Hospitals, Embassies, and Hotels roundup his repertoire of successfully commissioned assignments. As a second generation entrepreneur, he is working toward creating an Engineering Organization with a Global Outreach.

Kiran Andicot holds the position of Regional Vice President, Hotel Development with Marriott International based in New Delhi, India. Mr. Andicot joined Marriott International in January 2006 in their development planning and feasibility department. Before joining Marriott, he worked with the real estate and hospitality consulting division of Ernst & Young in Dubai and prior to that with HVS International in New Delhi. Prior to HVS, he spent over seven years working in hotel operations with the Taj and Oberoi group at various locations in India. Mr. Andicot is an alumnus of the Oberoi School of Hotel Management (now OCLD), Delhi.

Recently, Mr Mediratta completed an outstanding and fulfilling 16-year tenure with The Oberoi Group, where his last position was Senior Vice President Sales. His previous roles span successful terms in senior positions at globally acclaimed hotel groups like Hyatt International, IHG and Park Hotels. He currently is the Chief Advisor for Leela Palace Hotels and Resorts and Founder of One Rep Global – a leading Sales, Marketing and PR advisory for ultra luxury and luxury hospitality and travel brands. He also serves on the governing board of Responsible Tourism Society of India.
Mr Mediratta is also an active angel investor and invests in early-stage luxury and travel startups as well as mentors founders on product-market-fit, talent hiring and retention and the founder mindset.

Mudassir is responsible for the growth of Radisson Hotel Group in the South Asian market. He has played an important role in expansion of the company’s brands across the region for over a decade, and has been involved in over 100 hotel signings across South Asia. He has also held various important roles in the development and planning functions during his tenure with the Radisson Hotel Group. Mudassir is a graduate in Business Administration from the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce Pune, and has also obtained a master’s degree in Business Management from University of Saint Andrews, Scotland. Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group, Mudassir worked with Royal Bank of Scotland and Deloitte.

Romesh Koul, a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, started his career as a Management Trainee with Jaypee Group at their hotels in New Delhi and left in 1984 to join Hotel Corporation of India at their unit at Srinagar. He started his career as a Management Trainee with Jaypee Group at their hotels in New Delhi and left in I 984 to join Hotel Corporation of India at their unit at Srinagar. He joined Hotel Banjara Hyderabad in 1986 as Assistant Front Office Manager.
After 6 years of operational experience with various hotels, Romesh joined In Hotels Management Services Private Limited, a specialised consultancy organisation promoted by Mr. A. N. Haskar, Chairman Emeritus, ITC. Subsequently, he joined Tourism Finance Corporation of India (TFCI) in 1990 and was responsible for appraising more than 200 hotel projects. Romesh left TFCI in 1996 to set up his own company “Naaz Hotel Consultants Pvt. Ltd.” to provide specialised tourism related consultancy and need based services to new entrants in the hospitality industry. Today, Naaz advises various operational, project and financial matters to individual hotel promoters /groups.

Sahil Khan is currently the Senior Director of Design and Technical Services for Radisson Hotel Group in South Asia and has two decades of experience in Design Management and Project coordination of Luxury to Upper Mid-Scale Hotels. His key responsibilities include rolling out of eight Hotel brands in the subcontinent and Indian Ocean. He is responsible for the oversight of all design and construction related activities for new build projects and major capex projects within the region and is actively handling a portfolio of more than sixty-five hotels in different stages of design and construction. Previously, Sahil has worked with world class hospitality chains such as The Oberoi Group of Hotels, Emaar India. In his last assignment with The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, he was actively involved in development of Luxury Hotels in Africa, GCC, Far East, Indian Ocean and Indian Subcontinent and was directly responsible to the Group Executive Chairman, Mr. P.R.S. Oberoi. Sahil has been part of various hotels which have been consistently ranked as No. 1 in Asia and India by Leading Travel Magazines and Journals. Sahil is an ailurophile, Aviation aficionado and loves researching on Aviation in his free time.

Vinayak is a Partner in Paradise Group, a Real Estate & Hospitality firm. The group currently owns a portfolio of three hotels & resorts, namely, The Westin Pushkar Resort & Spa, Royal Orchid Central Jaipur & Ramada by Wyndham Jaipur North. Furthermore, the group has a new project in its pipeline – Luxor Pushkar, scheduled to open in March 2022. Vinayak has an extensive 14 years of experience in the hospitality, real estate & renewable energy sector. Anil Sharma graduated from IIT Roorkee in the year 1982 and started his career with Bharadwaj & Associates in the year 1982 and worked with them till 1984. Thereafter, he joined Kabil Associates, a USA-based firm, and worked with them until 1989. He worked with them on various prestigious projects, namely USIS Calcutta, US Chancery Burma, US Consulate and Consular Residence in Lahore. In addition, he also worked in the US office of Kabil Associates for 6 months. In the year 1989, he started his own practise of architecture by the name of ASA (Anil Sharma Associates). His first project in Pune was later branded as the Holiday Inn Pune. It was also awarded "The Best New Hotel of the Year in the Asia Pacific Region" by Holiday Inn worldwide. Since then, ASA has been involved in various reputed hotel projects all over India and has designed projects in Nepal, Bangladesh and Kazakhstan as well.

Zubin Saxena is Managing Director and Vice President of Operations, South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group, and a member of the company’s Asia Pacific executive committee. He is based at the group’s South Asia head office in New Delhi.
He is responsible for spearheading the company’s hotel portfolio and operations in South Asia, implementing new brand standards and improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the region’s hotels. Zubin has played a key role in establishing Radisson Hotel Group as one of the largest and fastest growing international hotel brands in South Asia. Rimpesh Sharma is having 22+ years (09 years in Middle East) of professional experience in Architecture, Master planning, Project Management, Interiors and Building Construction industry. He has strong planning, designing and project management skills and has been extensively involved in design and construction, site management / co-ordination for mixed-use developments, hotels, commercial and residential projects. Completed accredited course in project management, PMI in 2007. In his current position as Founder Director / CEO, his primary role is to Create, improve, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the company. Mentor and interact with staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among team members and build alliances and partnerships with other organizations. He oversees and provides valuable design input to team where larger, higher budget, multi-unit developments have necessitated the production of numerous alternative schemes and amendments throughout the planning and execution processes. He has excellent spatial awareness, which has proved invaluable in maximizing the potential of proposed developments and ensuring the most efficient use of space. A post graduate in Business Administration, Dhruva Rathore has been in the hospitality industry for over thirty years. He started his career as a Sales & Marketing management trainee with Indian Hotels Company Limited followed by a stint with ITC Hotels Limited. He subsequently occupied leadership positions in Sales & Marketing at Parkroyal New Delhi and with Indian Hotels Company Limited in New Delhi. He joined Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in February 2005 to set up their sales organization in India, moved to the Development function in 2008 and is currently Vice President – Development responsible for the Indian subcontinent.

Sanjay Agrawal is a B.E. Electronics & Communications Graduate and has a wide & vivid experience of 31 years in the field of ICT. He is a Certified Integration Specialist & solutions consultant from Intel. He is a Master designer from ADC Krone for structure cabling solutions and was managing an ISO 9002 Organization. Mr. Agrawal is also a member of IEEE (Computer Society) & HTNG (a prestigious forum for IT in Hospitality). Suhail Kannampilly is an alumni from IHM Mumbai, Suhail has been instrumental in the growth and development of Concept Hospitality and has fore-fronted the success of The Fern brand across India. With a keen business acumen that stems from over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Vandana Saxena heads a dynamic Architecture and Hotel Interior Design practice based out of Gurgaon, India; established in 2012. Vandana has a keen eye for detail, a logical mind and strong design aesthetic. She believes in weaving together the local context, a larger functional need and a modern aesthetic to help create a unique and timeless narrative for a project. She; along with a talented set of designers; has been involved in the design of multiple new build hotels as well as brand conversions. She recently worked on the biggest simultaneous brand conversion in India, a portfolio of 10 Holiday Inn Express Pan India, which was also completed in a record time of less than a year. She has also been involved in creating the unique meeting space venue (EQ:IQ) for Hyatt Regency Pune, the Renaissance by Marriott at Ahmedabad besides many other projects. RITU’s career started at the iconic Taj Mahal Hotel, Delhi thereby giving her insight to hotel operations. Thereafter she found her passion in designing for hotels and TID India was born in 1995.With a team of design professionals, she has journeyed across India and neighbouring countries to work on hotel and resort projects ranging from budget to luxury hotels. TID’s design expertise further extends to Clubhouses, show flats, retail and more. Ritu believes “The best experience in design comes with traveling, observing and expanding ones horizon to new ideas. It is not just about what is within the 4 walls, it is about integration, creativity and thinking out of the box”. Her other creative pursuits involve reading and writing. She has recently launched her late father’s book “Hotel Futurama & Other Stories” which she had edited and compiled. It is available on Amazon and as an ebook. Presently Hemant is associated with Radisson Hotels Group as Director – Information Technology, South Asia. responsible for handling IT/Telecom setups for existing 108 operational hotels under all the brands, developing 20 plus pre-opening hotels, rolling out of RHG central application EMMA in India, contribution in enhancing IT brand standards for RHG IT in APAC. Hemant Khattar has also worked with brands such as The Lalit, Intercontinental, Hilton, Holiday inn and Crowne plaza. During this period, He was involved in developing 16 hotels, chain of night clubs, Hospitality management school, retail shops, Auditorium, Corporate office. He further widened his practice by designing the Pathways school Noida which is a USGBC certified platinum rated green building. He ventured into high end residential homes for eminent personalities like Mr. Rajat Sharma (India TV), Dr. Anand Burman (Dabur) and Mr. Deepak Seth (Pearl Group). Possessing a very fine understanding of aesthetical and technical aspects of a building has been the key factor for successfully delivering well-designed and well-engineered buildings.

Pravin Mukhia was born in Darjeeling, India and completed his Schooling & College at St. Joseph’s College, North Point Darjeeling, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree. A graduate from the School of Architecture, McGill University, Montreal Canada he completed his Master’s Degree in Minimum Cost Housing from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Cambridge, U.S.A. He worked as an Architect in various organisations in India and abroad and currently has his own firm, Pravin Mukhia Design Group with offices in Kathmandu, Dubai & Darjeeling which in involved in designing exclusive Residences, Hill housing, Hotels & Resorts, Educational, Religious & Medical Institutions, Industrial Planning & Heritage Restoration works.

Reza Kabul established ARK Reza Kabul Architects in 1988 on a basic premise that spaces are an extension of oneself, and the need to make them functional and liberating is as essential as them being aesthetically pleasing. As of tday, ARK has become synonyms to a brand, with projects spread across countries such as the United States of America, India, United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Sudan, and Russia, among others. Headquartered in Mumbai, with its western ancillary ARK Studio Inc (California, USA), ARK is a full-service architecture, interior design, landscape, and urban planning studio. One of the foremost talents in the realm of Indian architecture, Reza Kabul’s foray into the industry was a random experience of viewing books on architecture that proved catalyst enough for a switch from engineering to architecture. He has been a speaker on various international platforms, and a pioneer in tall buildings, Reza Kabul has been listed in the Limca Book of Awards (2003) for Shreepati Arcade, the tallest building in India.

Sanjay Dhingra, a 1990 batch architect from SPA, Delhi started Albergo jointly with Madan Purohit in 2007 for PMC services with special focus on Hospitality sector. In this short span of almost 15 years, Albergo has many feathers to their cap, namely, ITC Welcom, Chail; Aloft & Marriott – both at Kathmandu; Fairfield Marriott, Amritsar; Courtyard by Marriott, Raipur; Radisson Blu Plaza, Hyderabad; Maurya at Patna; Radisson at Ranchi and Paschim Vihar/ Delhi; Four Points by Sheraton, Indore and Country Inn and Suites, Sahibabad/ Delhi. This converts to approx. 3000 guest rooms & close to 4 million sqft built up area. Ongoing Hotel Projects include Hyatt Regency at Jaipur, Marriott Courtyard at Shillong, Holiday Inn Express at Kathmandu, Sheraton & Four Points combo at Ahmedabad and Hyatt Regency at Kasauli.

Ishaan Koul holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Hospitality and Restaurant Management from IIMT (Institute for Management and Technology) Gurgaon affiliated with Oxford Brookes University, UK in 2009. Ishaan underwent industrial training at Four Seasons Sydney in 2007 and started his professional carrier as Management Trainee at Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon. In order to gain international experience Ishaan worked at Holiday Inn Orchard City Centre Singapore between 2011 & 2012 and joined Naaz Hotel Consultants Pvt. Ltd., in 2013. With the background of hotel operations, revenue management & marketing Ishaan was heading the feasibility division of Naaz Hotel Consultants Private Limited. Mr. Ishaan Koul joined Radisson Hotels Group as a part of the development team in 2019 and spent a year in the organisation before joining Naaz again in 2020. The current focus of Mr. Ishaan in addition to heading the feasibility division is to assist, advise and help in finalising the management & other agreements with various International & domestic hotel chains for independent owners diversifying into hospitality industry. Mr. Ishaan is a sports lover and has interest in acting.

Manish Thapar has been leading projects for Ascentis since 2012.Manish is a strong team leader with a solid technical expertise and proven track-record of value engineering and under-budget delivery for several complex projects in the region. He has been associated with over 40 projects in South Asia.

Mr. Paritosh Ladhani is the Managing Partner of the Ladhani Group, the Executive Director of Taj Hotel and Convention Centre, Agra and also the founder and owner of Hard Rock Café, Delhi. He hails from a business family that happens to be the biggest Bottler for Coca-Cola India. His family has been the No.1 bottling group for the company for the last 23 years, and this continual supremacy inspired him to venture into other business ideas, such as, hospitality. His biggest inspiration is his father and his uncle who have grown the business from scratch to a multi-million-dollar conglomerate. Mr. Ladhani is an MBA in entrepreneurship from University of Stirling, Scotland. He was inducted as the Executive Director (Operations and Business Development) at a young age of 21. As a Managing Partner, he has taken the G Ladhani Group to an altogether higher growth trajectory. In the 20 years that he has been in the Group, he has accelerated growth, built a meritocracy and enhanced stakeholder value. The group has been awarded the best bottling partner of Coca-Cola more than 5 times in the past 10 years. Not only this, Mr. Ladhani has driven the property towards greater heights with powerful strides into the hospitality domain. As an energetic entrepreneur, with sharp understanding of business ethics, he values the amount of detailing and hard work this industry demands.

Siraj along with his Architect wife Renu set up a design practice -"Siraj & Renu". in the early 80's in Hyderabad & extended their practice, establishing offices at Bangalore & Chennai. Designed & conceptualised Hotel, Hospitality & Development projects primary focus being on Hotels, Hospitality & F&B spaces in India & Abroad. The firm has designed & implemented 65 plus hotel developments in addition 30 / 35 million sft. Residential & Commercial projects. They have won numerous Awards - Instituted by reputed ID related organisations such as IIID which they won 3 consecutive years from 1996 to 1999 & thereafter many more awards in the field of Architecture & Hotel design. Over the years, they have been prominently featured in trend setting I.D. publications including Inside Outside, Elle Décor, C W Interiors, IFJ & they've seamlessly enjoyed extensive coverage in major national publications. Most recently S&R won the most prized The Realty Plus- Conclave & Excellence Awards 2020, by BW Business World in two select Categories - "Sustainable Design Architect of the Year" & "Hospitality Project of the Year" 2021. In December 2021, they were prominently featured in the Business Connect magazine as India's Top 10 Hospitality Designers.
